DTI sets Public Consultation on the Technical Standards for Autogas Industry

Bureau of Product Standards (BPS) of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will conduct a Public Consultation on the Technical Standards for the Autogas Industry and its related issuances on October 30, 2006 at 8:00 in the morning, Audio Visual Room, University of San Carlos Main Campus, P. del Rosario Street, Cebu City.

The activity is in coordination with the Oil Industry Management Bureau (OIMB) and Energy Utilization Management Bureau (EUMB) of the Department of Energy, the Land Transportation Office and the Department of Transportation and Communications and the USAID-ECAP.

The public consultation, a support to the government’s Autogas Program, will deal with the following topics: Auto-LPG dispensing station – General Requirements, Automotive LPG components – containers, Motor Vehicles using liquefied petroleum gases in their propulsion system and DOTC Circular on the Guidelines in the Registration of Auto-LPG.
